Safe Haven Ranch is a 501(c)3 founded in 2019 by Jason & Ginger Slaughter.  Mr. Slaughter answered the call God placed on his heart to help people in need. He first began his calling by helping the local community’s homeless population in 2011 and felt moved soon after to begin building homes for children in need.  Mr. Slaughter grew up very close to an orphanage in his local community and his parents were part-time houseparent’s at that orphanage. Being raised in that environment gave Mr. Slaughter a view of hurting children most people do not see, God used that experience to move Mr. Slaughter to help give children a safe home in a Christian environment to be raised with full time loving houseparent’s.

After years of feeding and housing the homeless in his community God moved and provided him a property and Safe Haven Ranch was born.  There is currently a functioning children’s home currently on the property along with animals and greenhouses. The Ranch does provide a Christian Education to all children who reside in the homes as well as Summer Camp at a local Christian Summer Camp. The work continues on the ranch, infrastructure is built and now we are in the planning stages for the homes. We are prayerfully hoping that our homes will be complete by 2025.
